What’s the Last Thing You Wrote

I like these “last thing you did” message boards. So let’s see how well this one goes.

Just write the last thing you wrote. I could be typed or hand written or whatever. But if it’s a super long essay or something then just write the last sentence.

The last thing I wrote was obviously this description, but before that it was:

“He will earn 7 dollars and 38 cents.”

  • How to Make a Peanut Butter and Jelly Sandwich
Take two slices of bread out of the bag and put them side by side on a cutting board, so that the insides are facing up.
Open your jar of peanut butter and jar of jelly by unscrewing the lids.
Using a butter knife, scoop about two tablespoons of peanut butter out of the jar, and spread it on the side of the bread that is facing up, on one piece of bread.
Using the same butter knife, scoop about two tablespoons of jelly out of the jar and spread it on the side that is facing up of the other piece of bread.
Put the two pieces of bread together, with the peanut butter and jelly smooshed together and the sides of the bread with nothing on them facing out.
    • xD
    • That’s a lot of peanut butter and jelly! XD
      This is awesome
      • Oh you're right xD I should probably change it to one tablespoon.
It's for this thing we have to do in science about making specific directions xDD
  • Appearance: very curly red hair, green eyes, lots of pimples. Short.
  • Hi Hawks! Today marks the day that our school newspaper is launched. Except it’s not a newspaper because who reads those? For the last few weeks, our new journalism class has been working and brainstorming on a newspaper that is both informative and doesn’t bore you to death. We decided on this [blog?], the [insert name], for students and by students. On the left is all the categories, so if you need some information or just have the strong need to read a story about dog, you can find it ASAP! On the right is a list of announcements that are happening in the school, so be sure to take, you know, two, four, five seconds to skim those because those could be important! In the middle, where you’re watching this, has the most recent [peices]. If you want to stay up to date about heath, work, art, tech, or those pet stories- don’t forget those, you’ll find it here. We should be posting five new [peices, articles?] every two weeks, so stay tuned.
We’re always looking for new artists, writers, actors, and photographers, as well as your ideas to make this blog simply enthralling, so email this address or click the contact button [say where it is] if you’re interested in doing any of that. Of course you’ll love to do it just because, I know you will, but there may be a little credit thrown in there too. That’s all for this video, but be sure to be the first to read out new articles, I think there’s one in there about [insert interesting article name], so don’t miss that. Bye!
  • As I get closer I can see that there is one girl and one boy. They both look about my age. The boy has mid toned skin and light brown hair, with a somewhat petite build. The girl has straight blonde hair down just past her shoulders, that looks as soft as the sky. Her face is pale and impossibly smooth, with almost no freckles. They are both wearing simple clothing--tee shirts and pants.

How to Talk to Your Crush

I have a crush on somebody, and I really like them. I want to tell them that I have a crush on them, but I’m worried they won’t like me back and I won’t even be able to be friends with them. What should I do? -Anonymous Your not alone anon, that’s a fear everyone has when they have crush- and it makes sense! Your admiting your personal feelings to another person, being scared of rejection is completely understandable. First of all, if you’re not already friends with this person, try becoming…

Sleeping Over at a Friend's House

When I get invited to sleepover parties, I always end up wanting to go home before bed. Now that I am a rising 8th grader, I am starting to worry that my friends may find it babyish that I can't spend the night. Any advice? -Anonymous      I’ve had experience with this same problem before! When I used to often have sleepovers with my friends, I’d nearly always call my mom to pick me up when it came time to go to sleep. Eventually, I did start to worry that my friends would look down on me…

Preparing For Your Period

“I feel very unprepared about getting my first period. I don’t know exactly what happens and I am really worried about getting it at school. I wouldn’t want to talk to anyone about it and I don’t feel comfortable talking to my mom about it ahead of time either. Would I be able to just use a wad of toilet paper instead of a pad for a day until I get home and can ask my mom for one? Where would I keep pads after I did get my period if I had it at school? I just feel uninformed and unprepared and…

Ask A Girl: Need advice? Give great advice? We help each other! Ask your questions or answer any of the questions already here. Your post will appear in a day or two, so check back often. We've had many girls ask if their questions can be anonymous, and that is not possible on this website. We want you to know that girls in NMG can trust each other, even with embarrassing questions. And if you want to, you can change your user name to a "not real" name that will then also be used in the magazine if your Ask A Girl question is published.

Letters To Luna: I'm Luna, the spirit of New Moon. Write a letter to me with your opinions and suggestions about the magazine and website. I love to read all your notes! Because I get so many letters, I can't reply online. But a select few letters get published in each issue!

Body & Feelings: Body image, mood swings, puberty, your first period, and so much more! The information girls need!

Check It Out: Share your rants and raves about books, magazines, movies, products, music, ads, tv, internet and more. Love it? Hate it? Let us know!

For The Curious: How does stuff in our world happen? Post and ask about experiments, tech, coding, math,  science, engineering, and more!  It's all about the weird, wonderful, and wacky! Be curious and be surprised.

Go Girls & Women Change the World: Amazing girls and women make the world a better place every day. Tell us about who you admire - now and from the past.  These don't have to be people who are already famous!

How Aggravating & Howl at the Moon: Tell us when you see something that's unfair to girls and women -you can vent about it here! And, Howl out your accomplishments and the things that make you proud as a person and a girl!

Love Remembers: Whether it's losing a beloved pet or a cherished person, loss is painful and can be difficult to cope with. But talking about our loved ones and keeping their memories alive can help. Share your beautiful memories here.

Random Stuff: Want a place to be silly, start message board games, or talk about stuff that doesn't fit into the other categories? Then check out this message board!

Role Play: Do you like role playing games? RPG’s are games where players (that’s you!) play the roles of characters in a fictional setting and have all kinds of adventures. See where the stories take you!

Voice Box: We can have different opinions and still be friends and listen respectfully to each other. We're interested to learn about other people's points of view and we don't have to try to convince them to think like we do. This is where we share opinions about issues that are important to us.

Contests & Games: Do you love creating new contests or games for everyone to play? Do you love playing in them? This is the place for you to make your own contests and games and invite everyone to participate! Remember, just like everywhere else on, if you make a contest or game, it must be open to everyone who wants to join in!
