waking up issues

When my parents try and wake me up i start to freack out and get mad and then get in trouble. I have tryed talking to them about it but they don't have any advice.

  • Ohh I totally understand you I used to feel the same all the time personally I just started setting my own alarm and then occasionally asked my parents if they can wake me up and I learned to appreciate it more
    • ^^^^ if you communicate to your parents that you’re setting your own alarm and don’t need to be woken up, then they’ll probably stop waking you up.
  • Well, maybe you should try to think about what freaks you out during the day so can can try to be prepared for the morning. Also, if you start to feel like you're about to freak out, try taking deep breaths and thinking about fun things you are going to do that day to make you feel like waking up more easily. Finally, you can even try going to bed earlier. One reason you might be freaking out could be that you are very tired. If you get more sleep at night, (9-11 hours is recommended) you will feel more alert in the morning and less likely to get upset.

Making Friends in Middle School

I'm starting school at a new school for middle school (6th grade). Sleeping Over at a Friend's House

When I get invited to sleepover parties, I always end up wanting to go home before bed.
