Hi wonderful people :) !
This is a board about our meat and animal production and consumption.
I have been a vegitarian for a long time, but I figured it really makes sense to go all the way and be vegan (vegitarian means not eating meat and vegan means not eating any animal products, so for example no eggs, milk, cheese).
Don't get me wrong, being a vegitarian is great and also a good start, if you want to become vegan.
But what I'm trying to say, being a vegitarian doesn't mean not killing animals with the way you eat for example (for organic food it's a little different, but still not perfect).
If you drink milk or eat eggs, you're probably getting them from companies that slaughter baby calves and male chicks because that is cheaper than raising animals that can't produce milk and eggs when they grow up.
Please look it up, because it's really terrible and you may not want to support all of this.
For me the best option was to drasticlly go vegan also, and being vegan is not unhealthy ! You can get the protein and carbs and basically everything you need from other food, too, it's really not that hard. If you want tips and tricks (or recipes) on how to do that - let me know!
Hope this was interesting to you :)
- Also, are you maybe already vegan or vegetarian or maybe gluten free ? I would be interested in your experience with that!
- ( I'm sorry if this text sounds commanding in any way it's not meant like that of course everyone should eat how they like :)
