S'MORE CONES!! (THERE MAY BE SOME TRIAL AND ERROR HERE BTW!!)
You will need- marshmallows( minis), chocolate, mixed berries, waffle cone.

1.) Stuff your waffle cone with all of the above. (at the bottom put some marshmallows then chocolate than marshmallows again then fruit)
    2.) Wrap in tin foil.
3.) If u r doing this over a fire, then put a rack over it and put ur cone on it, turning it every once in a while. If it's on a gas burner, just put it down and turn it.
4.) After about 5 minutes (ish) take the foil covered cone off and unwrap it. If it needs more time, wrap it back up and keep turning. If not, ENJOY!
  • TOILET PAPER GHOSTS
    1. For grown up ghosts get 4 sheets of toilet paper and for babies take 2.
    2. Fold the toilet paper strips in half and for the babies rip a little off the edges so that they are the right shape.
    3. Paint a face on the ghosts with black paint. (I used acrylic which worked great, but any paint will work as long as it's not too wet)
    4. Rip the bottom square into strips with it still attached to the head.
    5. Decorate any more you want. (I used some glow in the dark paint, but it didn't really show up)
    6. Glue a clear string onto the top and hang wherever you want.
I will post a picture in my Art so that you can see how they look.
  • Crispy Potato patties.
This isn't really my idea I got it from a recipe and changed it a little.

So cut potatoes in half and boil. Then place each half about 1-2 inches apart on a cookie sheet with parchment paper. Push down on each half with the bottom of a glass or something and cook for 20 minutes 400 degrees Fahrenheit. Make sure the potatoes don't touch when you flatten them, so they come out as patties. And once you bake them they'll be crispy.
  • Hmmm....I like to cut up old T-shirts and turn them into bags, pillows, and finger less gloves. If anyone is interested in a particular project, please reply to this post (or PM me), and I'll post directions.
    • I like making T-shirt bags too!

Well, I definitely don't xP (And I'm a day away from 17 years old, so that's saying something) Therefore it's probably not the best to assume that everyone else knows how to cook waffles either, as not all of us cook very often if at all or haven't specifically made waffles. We all come from different backgrounds and life experiences after all :)

Friends and Mature Topics

My friends are talking about really mature topics lately, and I still don't like to talk about that, even though I'm the same age as them. My friends are usually great, but now they're making me feel slightly uncomfortable and out of place. What should I do? - Anonymous First of all, know that you’re definitely not the only person who’s not always entirely uncomfortable with very “mature” topics! Notwithstanding your age, different people have different comfort levels on different things. Not…

New Year's Resolutions

2018 is here, and many girls have made New Year's Resolutions. It's easy and fun to make resolutions, but it's much harder to keep them throughout the year. Whenever I make New Year's Resolutions, I always write them on a piece of paper and hang it on the wall. Here are some of my New Year's Resolutions for this year: - Finish editing my novel and send it to publishers. - Perform an original song. - Get straight As in school. -Write in my journal more often. -Apply for scholarships and make…

Breaking a Habit

I have this nasty habit of using my nails to pick at scabs or pimples on my face. I'm worried that I'll create scars, but I can't stop. Do you have any ideas for stopping this habit? - Anonymous I’ve never had that particularly habit, but I do have experience with wanting to break a bad habit and having trouble stopping. (For me, it’s a habit of tearing my own hair.) Different people often find different strategies helpful, but here are some ideas for anti-habit techniques, most of which I’ve…

When Your Friend Becomes Popular

“I have two best friends at school. One of them is really introverted like me, but the other one is a total extrovert. We've all been friends since sixth grade (we're in eighth this year) and since then my extroverted friend has gone from being kinda dorky like me and my other friend to really popular. My other friend and I didn't really care that much at first, but this year he has started ignoring us sometimes. He'll talk to his other friends and not listen to us. I feel kind of hurt by it…

Ask A Girl: Need advice? Give great advice? We help each other! Ask your questions or answer any of the questions already here. Your post will appear in a day or two, so check back often. We've had many girls ask if their questions can be anonymous, and that is not possible on this website. We want you to know that girls in NMG can trust each other, even with embarrassing questions. And if you want to, you can change your user name to a "not real" name that will then also be used in the magazine if your Ask A Girl question is published.

Letters To Luna: I'm Luna, the spirit of New Moon. Write a letter to me with your opinions and suggestions about the magazine and website. I love to read all your notes! Because I get so many letters, I can't reply online. But a select few letters get published in each issue!

Body & Feelings: Body image, mood swings, puberty, your first period, and so much more! The information girls need!

Check It Out: Share your rants and raves about books, magazines, movies, products, music, ads, tv, internet and more. Love it? Hate it? Let us know!

Voice Box: We can have different opinions and still be friends and listen respectfully to each other. We're interested to learn about other people's points of view and we don't have to try to convince them to think like we do. This is where we share opinions about issues that are important to us.

Contests & Games: Do you love creating new contests or games for everyone to play? Do you love playing in them? This is the place for you to make your own contests and games and invite everyone to participate!
